Our Response to COVID-19

Updated 09/06/2021

Hey POB family -

We know the news recently hasn’t been the best, and we wanted to take a moment to reach out and let our customers know what steps we’re taking to ensure the safety of our staff, and be there for your furry friends--and the scaly/feathered ones too!

Masks are now required for all customers over the age of 5.

Per Governor Kate Brown’s executive order, face coverings are required for indoor public spaces in Multnomah county.

Everyone entering Pets on Broadway must wear a mask or face covering that covers your nose and mouth for the entirety of their shopping trip. Children under 5 years of age are not required to wear one.

If you cannot or will not wear a mask you have two options:

  • Curbside order: we can take your order at the door, process payment, and bring your products out.
  • Online order: you can shop online at PetsOnBroadway.com and have your order delivered to your house.

You can find more information here by clicking here.

Shopping Online:

If you are unable to make it to our store, you can shop online! We are encouraging all our customers to shop online if possible, so if you need help ordering or you don’t see your items on our website, send us an email or give us a call.

Due to current order volumes, shipments may take 3-5 business days to arrive. We've received a significant increase in orders, and are working with our distributors to get orders out as quickly as possible.

Curbside service is available. If you selected in-store pickup for your online order or would prefer to order over the phone, give us a call at 503-282-5824 and we’ll be happy to assist you!

Shopping In Store:

We are open from 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM.

Feel free to call in your order for contactless curbside pickup. Give us a call! We'll gather your order, ring you up over the phone, and bring out your order when you arrive. 503-282-5824

While in the store, please maintain a 6-foot distance from other customers and staff. A good rule of thumb is two cart-lengths between you and someone else. Our staff is adhering to these guidelines as well, and if you are unable to maintain the distance, we may ask you to wait outside while we gather your items for you.

If you are experiencing any symptoms, please have a friend or family member shop for you. We want to minimize the spread in any way that we can, so we ask that if you are feeling ill to stay home. If you can’t order online but don’t have someone to shop for you, give us a call and we’d be happy to pre-shop for you, or there are services such as Postmates who can shop and deliver items to your door.

We are well-stocked and ordering regularly from our distributors to keep it that way. Even if items are out of stock during your visit, or at the time of your order, we are receiving deliveries every day, and restocking our shelves as quickly as possible. While we do recommend having some extra food on hand, there is no need to worry about shortages.

At this time we are canceling all in-store events. This includes all Good Neighbor Vet vaccine clinics, Honey Dog Salon nail trim events, DIY, and Terrarium Building Workshops. Again, if anything changes, we will make updates to our calendar and notify everyone as soon as possible. If you have any questions about the vaccine clinics, you can contact Good Neighbor Vet at 888-234-1350, or give us a call at 503-282-5824.

We’re taking steps to protect our employees and our customers. We have implemented rigorous cleaning routines in every department, and have instructed our staff on preventative measures in line with the CDC and WHO guidelines, and Oregon's Stay Home, Save Lives order, including limiting the number of people in the store at any time and marking off waiting areas to help customers maintain the recommended distance.

We understand how scary this all is, and want you to know that we’re here for you and your pets. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
