Algae Clean Out is an EPA-registered algaecide formulated to knock out string algae, blanketweed, and green water caused by single-celled algae. It's built to treat an existing algae problem quickly rather than serve as a long-term preventative.

Unlike many algaecides, this formula is copper-free, making it a selective treatment that won't harm fish or live plants when used as directed. It's effective in both freshwater and saltwater aquariums, as well as fountains and small ponds.

This 8 ounce bottle treats up to roughly 2,800 gallons. Dose near the filter outflow and repeat every three days until algae is controlled. Not safe for use with freshwater snails, shrimp, or other invertebrates — remove them before treating.
