The Zoo Med Repti Basking Spot Lamp uses a patented double-reflector design that focuses 35% more heat and light into a tight beam than ordinary spot bulbs, creating a more effective basking site for diurnal reptiles.

Ideal for tropical and desert species that thermoregulate by basking, such as bearded dragons and iguanas. The lamp also provides beneficial UVA rays that support reptiles' psychological well-being and raises the ambient air temperature inside the terrarium.

This 100 Watt bulb installs into a ceramic-socket lamp fixture or clamp lamp only. Position it to one side of the terrarium to create a temperature gradient, and replace it roughly every 6 months to maintain heat and UV output.
